Andhra CM YS Jagan has always admired the contribution of Sr. NTR to the Andhra Pradesh state during his tenure. And the latest is, the Chief Minister has decided to pay a special tribute to the late actor-politician on his 100th birth centenary year. It is learnt that Jagan will soon install a 100-ft statue of SrNTR at Nimmakuru village of Krishna district.
The CM is in discussions over the proposal to construct a memorial for NTR in his native village and reportedly, Nimmakuru villagers have met Jagan on the same.
Right on May 28, on NTR’s birthday, the CM is expected to lay the foundation stone for the statue at Nimmakuru and install it on 14 acres, besides a water tank and developing a park. The works would be completed in one year.
The move will likely impress a section of the community, thereby, taking a dig at CBN for utterly failing in achieving reasonable progress so far.
As we know, Jagan named one of the new districts in Andhra Pradesh after NTR and he was appreciated for the kind gesture, even from the supporters of the arch-rival of TDP. Now he is all set to install a statue of NTR in Nimmakuru and this once again evokes a huge response from NTR’s fans.
