Polavaram dam, the lifeline of Andhra Pradesh had an inspection by Union Jal Shakti minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat and AP CM Jagan. Before visiting the dam, the union minister and CM Jagan visited the rehabilitation colonies in East and West Godavari districts.
During this visit, union minister Shekhawat and CM Jagan interacted with the people of the colony. Currently at Thaduvayi colony, 3905 homes are under construction and once completed, people who have relocated themselves from the project site would fall in the beneficiary segment.
However, it is learnt that a few colonies visited by the union minister and CM Jagan were built by ex-CM Chandrababu Naidu in the previous TDP government. Apparently Devipatnam, Enugulagudem and Manturu colonies are in good condition and so the officials arranged the visit of Union Minister and CM Jagan here.
These colonies were constructed three years back and about a year back, the expatriates relocated to the colonies. Just before Union Minister and CM Jagan’s visit, the officials arranged street lights and planted saplings on either side of the CC road.
Shockingly the Union Minister Shekhawat appreciated CM Jagan during the visit of these colonies. Seems like the union minister also had no clue about Chandrababu’s work and that’s pathetic.
