TDP national general secretary Nara Lokesh announced that the party’s official Twitter account @jaitdp has been hacked by nefarious elements last night. He took to Twitter and made the announcement regarding the hacking of the account.
After hacking, various posts were shared by the hackers on the party’s Twitter handle. Lokesh also said that the party’s IT wing was trying to restore the account by speaking with the representatives @TwitterIndia.
Now, the official account of the TDP is displaying pictures of a starship being tested with full stack propellant loadbase at Starbase, shared by SpaceX Twitter handle, connected to Tesla’s Elon Musk. To this, there were responses saying that it was ‘great job’, ‘awesome’, etc.
Just yesterday, West Bengal CM and TMC president Mamata Banerjee alleged that the TDP was in possession of the controversial Pegasus spyware. In the Assembly, she said that their government was offered the spyware but that she had declined it as it would encroach an individual’s privacy. At the same time, she said that Chandrababu Naidu’s government “had it during his rule”.
Responding to this allegation, Lokesh said that they too were offered the spyware but that he too declined it. Lokesh was the IT minister in Naidu’s regime.
Further, Lokesh asked if they had Pegasus, would Chief Minsiter YS Jagan Mohan Reddy had gone scot-free for all his atrocious acts.
Lokesh also supported his claim by revealing that an RTI reply from AP DGP Gautham Sawang’s office in 2021, made it clear that the AP government had not procured the Pegasus software.
With the party being hit by troubles back-to-back, the TDP cadre has become alert.
