Narsapuram YCP MP Raghurama Krishnam Raju has always been hogging the limelight by declaring an open rebellion with the party leadership. He opposed the party’s decisions on various issues which had become controversial and the party even issued a show cause notice to him. The MP made the notice too a controversy stating that the party’s name was printed wrong on the letter head and that there were no disciplinary committees in the party of which there was a mention in the show cause notice. However, Raju maintained that he does not want to oppose the party but only highlight the opinion of a majority of the people.
Raju had written a letter to the CM earlier stating that he was compelled to do so as he was not being given an appointment to speak up on issues like scarcity of sand which has been people in his constituency.
Now, Raju shot off yet another missive to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy requesting him to set up development committees for the Goshalas in the state.
In the letter, he reminded that a GO was issued in 2005, during YSR regime, directing formation of the committees. After the splitting of the state in 2014, no such committees were constituted, Raju pointed out.
Last year, three cows died at the religious Simhachalam shrine. Over 100 cows near Tadepalli-Kotthuru near Vijayawada consuming contaminated food. The MP said that protection and rearing of cows is considered a sacred act by the Hindus and he urged the CM to constitute the committees including people from various sections of the society and officials.
It should be remembered that there has been no response to his earlier letters either from the CM or from the party leaders. Will this letter evoke any response?
