AP BJP senior leader Daggubati Purandeshwari made key comments on alliance with Jana Sena Party and privatisation of Vizag Steel Plant. Taking part in the BJP formation day, Purandeshwari said that the YCP government has no right to question us (BJP) on Vizag steel plant privatisation.
But BJP will discuss if their ally i.e, Jana Sena approaches. “We are ready to discuss with Pawan Kalyan’s party on Vizag steel plant and come to an amicable solution,” said Purandeshwari. This is for the first time that a BJP leader opened up on privatisation row and she further said she would convey the mood of the Vizag people to the government of India.
On the alliance with JSP, Purandeshwari was watchful of her words. “BJP has its own ways to deal with anti-public decisions of the YCP government. Our agitation would continue even without Jana Sena Party but we will find a common platform if any issue comes up,” added Purandeshwari.
These comments needed attention because Purandeshwari said AP BJP will work on its own strategies to counter the YCP government instead of a united fight with Jana Sena.
Meanwhile Pawan Kalyan vowed not to split the anti-incumbency votes against YCP and he is open to alliance with any party. But he is still unclear to carry forward the alliance with BJP and moreover this alliance will not fetch votes because BJP betrayed people of AP on two occasions i.e, Special Status and Vizag Steel plant.
