It’s been 48 hours that AP cabinet was dissolved and CM Jagan is still working on the new cabinet. This afternoon Chief Advisor to CM, Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy met CM Jagan and discussed the cabinet reshuffle.
Post meeting Jagan, Sajjala was confronted by the media and journalists threw too many questions at him regarding the meeting and rumours of disappointment among the outgoing ministers.
“No one is upset so the question of pacifying doesn’t arise. All the 151 MLAs are Jagan’s team but some of them get ministers yet everyone has to work for the party,” said Sajjala.
When asked about the new cabinet, Sajjala replied that Jagan is looking into every aspect. “Several permutations and combinations needed to be worked on. I would like to say that every community would get adequate importance in the cabinet but this time BC community number could grow. Also women representation in cabinet will be there. By tomorrow afternoon, a probable list will be ready but the exercise will go on till the last minute,” commented Sajjala.
The advisor also disclosed a big detail that the new cabinet is going to be a combination of old and fresh faces. Rumours say that Jagan is planning to retain seven ministers instead of five which was initially thought. But Sajjala intelligently replied that the number could be seven or nine or ten.
Media reports claim that loud mouth Kodali Nani would be retained because of his firebrand nature and efficiency in countering the opposition, TDP in Assembly.
