Even in yesterday’s press meet TRS chief KCR gave hints about an alternative front without BJP and Congress in the national politics. Is a non-BJP and non-Congress front really possible? One of the senior most politicians in the country and dear friend to KCR, opened up about the ‘Third Front’ and he is Nationalistic Congress party chief Sharad Pawar.
Speaking in Mumbai, Sharad Pawar said a ‘Third Front’ without Congress is not possible. “To fight the BJP, all the political parties in the country should unite but I can’t imagine a ‘Third Front’ without Congress,” said Pawar.
This is interesting because in February KCR met Pawar and held talks on ‘Third Front.’ Though Pawar did not utter a word about the meeting, KCR confidently told the media that the talks were fruitful.
So Pawar made it clear that a ‘Third Front’ is not possible and what will KCR do now? Will he still reach out to other national and regional political parties in the country? Apparently KCR is closely working with popular political strategist Prashant Kishor to counter the BJP but somehow the dots are not getting connected.
