Agri Mantri Says Pawan Don’t Know Farming!

Agricultural Minister and YSRCP Nellore district president Kakani Govardhan Reddy has come down heavily on actor and Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan. Kakani said that Pawan only knows how to act in films and amass crores of rupees. He said, “Pawan Kalyan talking about agriculture is a joke. He can’t even win as a MLA.” Kakani said that Pawan need not be taken seriously as he can’t even win as an MLA on his own.

Earlier, Pawan Kalyan hit out at the YSRCP government. He alleged that 3000 farmers have ended their lives in three years in Andhra Pradesh. Pawan stated that AP stood in the third position in farmer suicides and second position in the suicides by tenant farmers in the country. He blamed ruling YSRCP for the farmers suicides. Pawan alleged that YCP has failed in addressing the problems of farmers.

Pawan said that farmers took agricultural lands on lease and took loans on interest from private lenders for which they had paid exorbitant rates of interest. Pawan stated that several farmers had claimed their lives for not being able to repay the mounting debt burden.
