In first, Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan has tested positive of the Covid-19. With this, Chouhan emerged as the first CM to get infected with the virus.
Taking to his Twitter handle, the MP CM made this announcement and then went into home isolation. “My dear countrymen, I #COVID19 I was having symptoms, after the test my report came back positive. I appeal to all my colleagues that whoever has come in contact with me, get their corona test done. My close contacts move to Quarantine,” tweeted Shivraj Singh.
Adding, “I am following all #COVID19 guidelines and have quarantined myself as per the advice of the doctors… I will be participating in the daily #COVID19 review meeting via video conferencing.”
In India, the Covid-19 cases count has gone past the 13 Lakh mark while the death tally is at 31K.
