AP Irrigation minister Ambati Rambabu and TDP senior leader Ayyanna Patrudu waged a war against each other on Twitter and this is getting uglier with each tweet. This social media war has gone to an extent that both leaders have indulged in personal attack instead of party and government policies.
It all started with ex-minister Ayyanna alleging that Ambati sexually harassed a female journalist of a popular YouTube channel when she approached him for an interview. Countering this, minister Ambati suspected this is a conspiracy against him and shared old pictures of TDP general Nara Lokesh with his female friends when in the US. But Ambati said that he is ready for anything.
In reply Ayyanna added that Ambati should be ready for everything including getting stripped from ministry because the female journalist will soon approach CM Jagan and lodge a complaint against the Irrigation Minister.
Calling Ambati as ‘Kaam Babu (pervert) Ayyanna shared an audio clip that allegedly has Ambati’s voice and a lady. Both Ambati (allegedly) and the lady discussed about a Muslim girl and what services she provides at home. This audio clip raked up a huge sensation in AP political circles.
But Ambati denied that the voice in the audio clip was his and added that TDP and Ayyanna are indulging in cheap tricks to target him. Yet Ayyanna hasn’t calmed down and taking on Ambati, the TDP leader tweeted that with the audio clip creating a storm, Ambati is busy making a compromise with the lady journalist.
Ayyanna is getting full support from the TDP leaders and Ambati’s audio clip is being widely shared. On the other hand Ambati dared the TDP leader to come up with concrete evidence before the media and even lodge a complaint against him with the police.
Are Ayyanna’s allegations true? Will Ambati be sent off from Jagan’s cabinet? We have witnessed many such sensational episodes in the past but we know how they ended.
