AP Municipal Administration & Urban Development Minister, Adimulapu Suresh made key comments on ‘Three Capitals’ and he kind of sent out hints that the YCP government may announce Kurnool as the Judicial Capital after Independence Day i.e, August 15th.
“I don’t know whether to say this or not but it’s not official, yet anything can happen after August 15th. Those developments will be unexpected and you will witness what is going to happen,” said minister Suresh.
The YCP minister further said that many big companies are going to establish their offices in Kurnool and Special Economic Zones (SEZ) will be announced in the coming days. “In the name of Amaravati development, the previous government indulged in Insider-Trading and it highly benefited a community. Only with decentralisation of development and administration, the state will progress,” said Suresh. The minister’s comments also suggest that the AP High Court may get shifted to Kurnool from Amaravati.
Simultaneously the YCP government is working on making Vizag as the Executive Capital. Sources suggest that CM’s camp office is getting ready and CM Jagan would shift to the beach city later this year.
If this is what is going to happen then Amaravati would be confined to Legislative Capital.
