KCR Hatched Conspiracy To Become CM In United AP?

Published by

Few days ago, Ex-Minister Telangana BJP leader Chandrasekhar made a startling revelation that Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao hatched a conspiracy to topple TDP boss N. Chandrababu Naidu’s government in united Andhra Pradesh. The BJP leader revealed this fact at the meeting organised by the BJP on the occasion of Telangana Formation Day, only to make his party leaders know how thirsty KCR had been for power since long.

The BJP leader explained how KCR plotted the coup on a TV new channel. Chandrasekhar Rao said that KCR got in touch with him after Naidu’s government was voted to power and told him that he has the support of 60 MLAs who were ready to travel with him and that he was planning to topple the TDP government.

“I did not agree to this but went to Naidu and told him that me, KCR, Bojjala Gopalakrishna Reddy and Mandava Venkateswara Rao were expecting a Cabinet berth. Then Naidu told me that he too was planning to induct us into the cabinet and asked all four of us to decide a date for that and then get back to him.”

“I told KCR the same but somehow, he was of the opinion that Naidu would not induct him into the cabinet and hence, sought the post of either the Speaker or deputy Speaker as leaders cannot be stripped off such posts easily. Accordingly, KCR was given the deputy Speaker post but his thirst for power did not subside. He kept contacting Telangana MLAs, speaking to them about the coup and tried to assess the support he would be getting. He could get the support of 60 MLAs and he also planned that all of them should fly in choppers and reach the Governor to raise the rebellion against Chandrababu Naidu. However, the whole plan failed after KCR got in touch with Jyotula Nehru. Nehru spilled the beans to Naidu and the issue was put to rest,” Chandrasekhar Rao said.

During his conversations with the MLAs seeking their support, KCR could understand that the Telangana sentiment would work in his favour and that he could become the CM, if it was made a reality, the Dalit BJP leader said.

During the Telangana movement, KCR even promised to make a Dalit the CM of separate Telangana. He was having me on mind but I did not believe in his words because I knew how KCR could cheat people, Chandrasekhar Rao said.

KCR promised many benefits to various people but did not fulfil them. He is used to betrayal and tricking people, the Dalit leader said.
