A key witness in YS Vivekananda Reddy’s murder has died under mysterious circumstances. The deceased is identified as Kalluri Gangadhar Reddy alias Kuwait Gangadhar Reddy and the 49 year old was found lifeless in his bed by his family members.
Suspicious over the death of Gangadhar Reddy, his family members lodged a complaint at the nearest police station. As soon as the cops received the complaint, an investigation was launched immediately and they also deployed a clues team for evidence. Gangadhar Reddy’s corpse has been sent to Tadipatri government hospital for a post-mortem report which could reveal the reasons of death.
About Gangadhar Reddy, he is one of the close aides of Shivashankar Reddy, who is one of the prime accused in Viveka’s murder. The CBI questioned Gangadhar Reddy too and he reportedly informed the probe agency that Shivashankar Reddy offered Rs 10 crore if he takes the blame of Viveka’s murder.
However Gangadhar Reddy changed his mind and refused to give a testimonial before the Magistrate. Later Reddy lodged a complaint against CBI officials with Anantapur Superintendent of Police.
So was Gangadhar Reddy killed or was it a natural death? The police investigation is on and the facts are yet to come out.
