Beleaguered Andhra Pradesh is witnessing the worst politics of late. The debt-laden state is going through the worst financial crisis ever and its leaders are least bothered about the development and investments to the state whereas they are indulging in personal war of words and mudslinging against one another.
YSRCP national general secretary and Rajya Sabha MP Vijay Sai Reddy and defiant leader of YCP, its Lok Sabha MP from Narsapuram Raghu Rama Krishna Raju have been blasting one another in Twitter using offensive and cuss words. The two parliamentarians are using unparliamentary language that can’t be written in newspapers and can’t publish in media feeds.
While Vijay Sai Reddy went onto call Raghu Rama Raju as ‘Wig’ Raju, ‘Peggu’ Raju, ‘Duplicate Gaju’ and the one who is Agnyathavasam by running away from his constituency, Raghu Rama Raju described Vijay Sai Reddy as ‘Condom’ Reddy, ‘Rasika Raja’. Vijay Sai Reddy questioned Raghu Rama Raju whether the latter’s moustache is genuine or fake. This opened a Twitter war between the duo.
Raghu Rama Raju retaliated to Sai Reddy stating that he would show all his ‘hairs’ when he meets and asked the latter to pluck them and check their genuinity. This is not the end. Raghu Rama Raju called Vijay Sai Reddy as ‘Rasika Vanara’ and stated that, “Naku Vunnadi Wiggu. Enni Sarlu Tannulu Tinna, Neeku Lenidi Siggu.”
The profanity in the talk between Raghu Rama Raju and Vijay Sai Reddy reached the peaks and people are certainly feeling uncomfortable with their ugly talking. Let’s hope that some sense prevail among AP leaders while behaving and commenting publicly. Let’s hope they would behave more responsibly given that both are representing Upper House and Lower House of the Parliament.
