What are the chances of Pawan Kalyan and his Janasena party doing well in the upcoming general elections? Forget about that, right now his two revelations are actually damaging his reputation as well as the party’s chances.
A couple of months ago, while speaking at the 9th anniversary of the Janasena Party, Pawan Kalyan commented that he is waiting for BJP’s roadmap to overthrow the YSR Congress Government. And recently Pawan shared that they have three options when it comes to contesting in elections, with one being an alliance with BJP & TDP, the other being an alliance with only TDP, and then contesting solo is the last option. These two things have killed Pawan Kalyan’s chances big time if the ground-level reports are to be believed.
Why would Janasena wait for BJP’s roadmap when Narendra Modi is not even giving an appointment to Pawan Kalyan but giving a chance to YSRC’s YS Jagan to meet him many times? That led to a belief that Pawan is still living in some daydreams and not resorting to either intelligent or pro-people politics. At the same time, immediately after he rolled out the 3-options in front of Janasena, BJP leaders openly stated that they don’t even consider Janasena as an alliance option.
And now, TDP cadres started to feel that if they collide with Pawan, then Janasena leaders might later say that Chandrababu Naidu formed a government only due to their support. And they are asking CBN to not have any such nexus with Pawan Kalyan to avoid humiliation later. Though these things said by PK could be their internal plans and ideas, he should not have revealed them publicly in this way.
