On 4th of this month Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be arriving in AP to take part in the 125th birth anniversary of Telugu freedom fighter Alluri Seetharama Raju. AP CM YS Jagan will be doing the honours to lay a special welcome to PM Modi and after that both will be flying to Bheemavaram in the same helicopter.
Probably this is for the first time that PM Modi and CM Jagan will be flying together but they will have a third company in the form of Union Culture minister G Kishan Reddy. At 10 o’clock Modi will be landing at Gannavaram airport from Hyderabad. After the arrival, PM Modi will meet AP BJP leaders in the airport lounge. From Gannavaram airport, Modi will take a chopper to Bheemavaram where he will unveil the Bronze statue of Alluri.
After inaugurating the statue, PM Modi, CM Jagan, Kishan Reddy and other leaders will address a massive public gathering. Modi is expected to talk for about 50 minutes while Jagan and Kishan Reddy would follow.
From Bheemavaram, PM Modi will head back to Gannavaram and again he will be holding talks with AP BJP leaders. Post this meeting, Modi will fly to Hyderabad. CM Jagan will give a send off to PM Modi.
In this busy schedule of travel, Jagan will have 20 minutes to talk to PM Modi that too in the helicopter they will be traveling. How well will Jagan utilize this time? There are many pending projects in AP while the Modi government is continuing to neglect AP for unknown reasons.
With elections fast approaching, Jagan should set his political agenda aside and think in the best interests of AP in these 20 minutes. Can he?
