Until the other day there were reports that YSRCP Honorary President YS Vijayamma would be gracing the Plenary meetings and on the second day of this conclave, she will address the party cadre.
And in a twist in the tale the latest rumors popping in the telugu media that Vijayamma is likely to resign to YCP and there is a wide spread talk within the party regarding the same.
Apparently this is touted to be a strategy of none other than YCP chief and CM Jagan. In order to remove Vijayamma, YCP is heading for reforms in the party’s constitution and that would force Vijayamma to voluntarily resign from the party.
Strengthening these reports, advisor to Chief Minister Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy acknowledged that in the plenary, the party’s constitution will be amended as per the Election Commission of India recommendations.
Jagan wants Vijayamma to resign to YCP at her own will and just in case if that doesn’t happen, he is contemplating to expel her by citing she is also the ‘Honorary President’ of YS Sharmila’s party in Telangana.
Accordingly Jagan is seeking legal advice from legal experts and a senior leader is said to be working on making amendments in the party’s constitution.
Full clarity on Vijayamma’s future with YSRCP would be known by evening and if these reports are true, Jagan will be the monarch in YCP and his word will be an order that no one questions.
