Quit Jagan – Save AP: Naidu’s New Slogan

At a road show ‘Badhude Badhudu’ in Chittoor district, TDP Chief N Chandra Babu Naidu vented his ire against the ruling party of Andhra Pradesh, YSRCP and its leader YS Jagan.

He said, with every passing day, more and more people are turning their backs on the YSRCP, thanks to the wrongdoings the government is committing.

Naidu referred to the YSRC administration’s signature Navaratnalu programmes as “Nava Ghoralu” and said it’s just the AP government that didn’t reduce the price of petrol and diesel, exhorted Naidu, adding Jagan is burdening the people of AP with hikes in taxes and essential goods.

Expressing his anger at Jagan’s failure in ruling the state, he said, “People are going to neighbouring states to procure alcohol. All this is because of Jagan’s corrupted thoughts and doings. Moreover, alcohol being sold under his regime is polluted and is injurious to health. I demand Jagan to answer for all the irregularities in the state.”

Raising the ‘Quit Jagan-Save AP’ slogan, he appealed to the people to dethrone the YSR Congress regime for the future of the State.

Naidu also alleged that paid employees were used to run the YSRC plenary and he demanded Jagan Mohan Reddy to go in front of the public if he had the courage. Speaking at the NTR junction in the city today, he said, “The YSRCP party is filled with corrupt politicians. The party is full of criminals. Jagan will know the anguish of people once he comes out in public. Even in his native village, Pulivendula, he could travel only with the help of police and barricades.”

“I can see many ‘wonders’ happening in the state. Rodents drinking alcohol, squirrels bites electrical lines, and honeybees destroying temple chariots are taking place only during the YSRC dictatorship. While I worked very hard to get an order to set up a school in each village, the YSRCP chief didn’t take a minute to even give a second thought before closing down 10,000 schools,” he exclaimed.

He said that by betraying his mother and sister, Jagan had adopted a “use and throw” mentality.

Naidu also demanded Jagan to let the public know as to why Anna Canteen was shut down, which served a meal for just Rs 5, while the Rs 5 meal scheme is being continued in neighbouring states like Telangana and Tamil Nadu. “It looks like the CM is money-grubbing lakhs of crores, his ministers are corrupting thousands of crores,” he concluded, asking people to question the YSRCP government as to what it did for the welfare of people during his tenure as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and fight the government.
