‘As per Jagan’s logic, YCP would win Only 4 seats in 2024’

AP CM Jagan cursed the oppositions that when in ruling, TDP grabbed 23 MLAs from YCP and so in the 2019 elections, Telugu Desam was confined to just 23 MLAs and 3 MPs. Highlighting this comment, YCP rebel MP Raghu Ramakrishna Raju derived a new logic.

Apparently four TDP MLAs have revolted against the party but they haven’t joined the YCP since Jagan is against defection. Yet the general opinion is that the rebel TDP MLAs support YCP in Assembly and Council in every decision the Jagan government takes.

“If Jagan’s logic is applied, YCP might win just four seats in the 2024 elections. Did Jagan indirectly predict YCP’s future? I can’t rule out but I’m scared that there might not be any YCP representation in Lok Sabha and it would be a great loss to the interests of AP,” said RRR in a satirical tone.

The Narsapuram MP also reacted to Vijayamma’s resignation. Playing a clip from an old Telugu movie RRR believed that assets sharing between Jagan and Sharmila might be the reason behind the dispute. “In AP, Jagan is in a happy place as CM whereas it’s the people who are in real trouble. In Telangana, nobody invited Sharmila, but Vijayamma believes that her daughter is in trouble and she needs to support her daughter. I really hope Vijayamma negotiates the differences between Jagan and Sharmila and settles them at the earliest,” added RRR.

The YCP Plenary sessions are being held with the primary target of 2024 elections. YCP leaders are extremely confident that the party would sweep all the 175 Assembly and 25 Lok Sabha seats. That’s highly ambitious and sounds overconfident.
