Mulugu MLA Seethakka alias Danasari Anasuya is something who needs no introduction. During the pandemic lockdown, when people in remote villages of Mulugu district were struggling to make ends meet, Seethakka provided them timely groceries. She reached out to the most isolated villages despite difficulties in transport.
Yet again Seethakka displayed the same effort due to torrential rains in Telangana. With river Godavari overflowing with high intensity, the villages of Mulugu district were completely waterlogged and people are facing huge troubles. Though the rescue operations are going on, they are not on par.
Instead of waiting for the authorities and rescue teams, Seethakka went on the ground and is helping people in her capacity. With assistance from locals, Seethakka managed to get a boat and using it, she is supplying food and essential commodities to people in need. Demanding immediate assistance, Seethakka asked the government of India and Telangana to compensate the people in the agency region.
However, while moving from one place to another, Seethakka’s boat got stuck in the mangroves. Luckily no unwanted incident had occurred and Seethakka is out safe and is carrying forward with her noble work.
No MLA will ever dare such things like Seethakka and she deserves a pat and wish she continues her work irrespective of what comes her way.
