AP CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s comments during YSRCP’s ‘Gadapa Gadapaku Mana Prabuthavam’ workshop for MLAs and regional coordinators have been going viral on social media since evening. Jagan also turned serious on several MLAs who are not fulfilling their responsibilities to the fullest. The CM told his party MLAs to mingle with people at ground level and work hard to implement the government schemes successfully.
“I too have hundreds of problems, but still I am pressing the button every month (to deposit the amount directly to people’s accounts) and ensuring that they are getting benefitted by our schemes. Lakhs of families are dependent on us. We will survive if only we provide them quality governance. I urge you all to cater 16 to 21 days and visit 7 Sachivalayams each month to take our schemes to people through ‘Gadapa Gadapaku Mana Prabuthavam’ and resolve their issues within 48 hours,” said Jagan.
Jagan went on to say that he has set up Chief Minister Development Fund (CMDF) and allotted additional Rs 20 lakhs to each Sachivalayam and Rs 2 crore for each assembly constituency’s development. “We did well in Kuppam, and in the municipal and panchayat elections. 87 percent of families in the state are getting benefitted by our schemes. If we take their help, why can’t we win all the 175 seats in the next elections? We must ensure that we work as a team and provide a corrupt-free governance,” the CM said.
Jagan warned his legislators saying that he will give tickets to only winning horses in the next general elections. “I don’t care even if you make sacrifices to please me. My decisions will be quite drastic after 6 months from now. There’s still 20 month-time for the elections. Only 15 of our MLAs are working at ground level. I urge all the legislators to work hard and ensure our victory,” said Jagan.
