Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan hit out at the YCP government for just limiting to words but not translating the same into actions.
The central government is ready to grant Rs 548 crore for the modernization of KC canal but the state government is not able to release an equal share of its funds and the works are getting delayed. Once these works are completed, an additional 1 lakh acres in Rayalaseema.
“I pretty well know that they (YCP leaders) would again begin abusing me from tomorrow but remember I am bearing with all that only for you,” he said.
He reminded that Union minister Nirmala Sitharaman had once remarked that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is looking after a YCP leader like his own son. “When Modi is treating you (Jagan) like a son, why can’t you ask for funds to complete Polavaram project and KC canal,” he asked.
“You could have even asked for establishing the Kadapa steel factory which would generate jobs for 25,000 people directly and many more indirectly.”
Why are you not asking for all these? Because you do not have the guts to question as there are criminal cases filed against you, he said.
“He (Jagan) might be wanting to grill the authorities about the injustice but he is not able to only because of the pressure due to the several cases against him,” he said.
Pawan mocked at Jagan saying that the CM was only telling “Centre medalu vanchutam” and “tokki naara teestam” here but after going there, the scene gets reversed and he (Jagan) would begin bowing to them.
“I only wish that people in Andhra Pradesh should have a bright future and would continue to work for achieving it,” he affirmed.
