The alleged scam of Delhi Liquor policy seems to have roots in Telangana and a BJP MLA said that KCR’s daughter and TRS MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha and her relatives are involved in this scandal. These allegations by the BJP leader created ripples in Telangana and in her first reaction, Kavitha denied any wrongdoing.
“I have been hearing media reports that my name popped up in the Delhi Liquor policy scam being investigated by the CBI. I completely deny these allegations and I have whatsoever no connection with the Delhi Liquor policy. They are baseless and BJP has all the probe agencies in its hands and they can investigate the case that is required and I will completely cooperate,” said Kavitha.
The TRS MLC added that this is a mind game of the BJP that if they drag her name, her father KCR who is fighting against the BJP, would get scared. “KCR has been exposing PM Narendra Modi government’s failure and the injustice being done to Telangana. BJP did not find a way to target KCR and so they rooted for such silly politics by dragging me. Such senseless tricks will be of no help for the BJP,” said Kavitha.
Yet Kavitha did not go into details of the allegations made by the BJP leader. Kavitha had the option of going for a defamation case against the BJP leader but she did not utter a word in that manner. She simply denied the accusations and added that she is ready to face the CBI or any other probe agency.
