Former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu, who is on a 3 day tour in his home constituency, Kuppam, has launched a fiery attack on the ruling YSRCP. Chandrababu prophesied that Jagan’s sarkar’s days in the state are numberd.
“YSRCP leaders are making tall claims that they will win all the 175 seats in the next general elections. But mark my words, they will not win even a single seat in the state. We will ensure YSRCP’s end even in Pulivendula,” said the septuagenarian leader, urging all the voters to stand by TDP in the next election.
Needless to say, Chandrababu’s statements seem too far fetched to the point that it appears as if he’s daydreaming. While one can’t ignore the apparent anti-incumbency against the Jagan government, it is definitely not going to be a cakewalk for the TDP in the upcoming election. Also, several “mood of the people” surveys have also predicted YSRCP’s majority in the coming election. It’s high time that Naidu realised this ground reality and plan his strategies accordingly.
In the 2019 general elections, the Chandrababu-led TDP, after ruling Andhra Pradesh for 5 years, suffered a shameful defeat in the hands of Jagan’s party. TDP had managed to secure just 23 assembly seats across the state. Chandrababu and all other senior TDP leaders are hellbent on trouncing the YSRCP in the next contest and are frantically hitting the roads on a regular basis.
