The YCP government is going to have a tough week ahead for many reasons. Against the YCP government policies, the Telugu Desam is doing a non-stop attack. TDP cadre across the state are in thoughts to intensify their protest against Jagan sarkar. And from 1st of September, the AP government employees have decided to agitate on the issue of the Contributory Pension Scheme (CPS).
The employees are planning a seizure of the CM’s camp office and a million march to show their unity. Amidst this the BJP has joined the bandwagon to protest against the new rules and restrictions being brought by the YCP government in view of Vinayaka Chavithi festival.
The state government has initiated registration fee for Ganesh canopies and in this regard, the revenue officials have employed volunteers to collect the fee. Only if the registration documents are produced to the police, approvals are being given for the canopies.
The BJP is seriously objecting to the YCP government’s ‘registration fee’ to Ganesh canopies and has decided to show their political aggression. Accordingly the BJP has called for a protest for the next four days starting from Monday.
AP BJP chief Somu Veerraju expressed anger that the YCP government is creating disturbances in the name of rules for Vinayaka Chavithi festival. In protest against the attitude of the government, the BJP has called to organize an agitation at the Tahsildar offices in all mandal centers of the state from Monday. He alleged that the government is polluting the festival atmosphere by making permits mandatory for celebrating the festival.
Somu opined that the state government is harassing the organizers of Ganesh canopies by issuing orders through the DGP to obtain various types of approvals and this is a never before. He demanded that permits be granted under the single window system immediately after applying for Vinayaka Chavithi festivals.
All these indicate the YCP government will face the political heat from the oppositions and the fury of employees for its promise on CPS.
