Filmfare Awards 2022: Ranveer Is Best Actor – Kriti Best Actress

Now that we are in the second half of the year 2022, various film award councils have announced their nominees a couple of weeks ago. Unlike others, the Filmfare Awards, one of the prestigious & most reputed award functions took place yesterday. Among the nominees, three films, ‘Mimi’ by Laxman Utekar – starring Kriti Sanon, ‘Sardar Udham’ by Shoojit Sircar – starring Vicky Kaushal & ‘Shershaah’ by Vishnuvarshan – Starring Siddharth Malhotra shined as they embraced the sentimentality & nationalism.

The function was grandeur in all sorts. Right from Kiara Advani to Anil Kapoor, it was like the dark sky shining with its comets & stars.

The winners are as follows:

Best Actor: Ranveer Singh – ’83’

Critics’ Choice: Vicky Kaushal – ‘Sardar Udham’

Best Actress: Kriti Sanon – ‘Mimi’

Critics’ Choice: Vidya Balan – ‘Sherni’

Best Director: Vishnuvardhan – ‘Shershaah’

Best Film (Critics’ Choice): Sardar Udham

Best Actor in a Supporting Role (Male): Pankaj Tripathi – ‘Mimi’

Best Actor in Supporting Role (Female): Sai Tamhankar – ‘Mimi’

Best Story: Abhishek Kapoor, Supratik Sen & Tushar Paranjape – ‘Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui’

Best Dialogue: Dibakar Banerjee & Varun Grover – ‘Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar’

Best Screenplay: Shubhendu Bhattacharya and Ritesh Shah – ‘Sardar Udham’

Best Original Story: Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui

Best Debut Male: Ehan Bhatfor – ’99 songs’

Best Debut Female: Sharvari Wagh – ‘Bunty Aur Babli 2’

Best Debut Director: Seema Pahwa – ‘Ramprasad Ki Tehrvi’
