Congress leader Rahul Gandhi embarked on a huge feat in political history with ‘Bharat Jodo’ yatra in Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu. In this walkathon, Rahul Gandhi will cover 12 states walking over 3500 kilometres in 150 days.
Before beginning the Bharat Joda yatra, Rahul Gandhi took the blessings of his father. Paying rich homage to late Rajiv Gandhi at his memorial, RaGa wrote, “I lost my father to the politics of hate and division. I will not lose my beloved country to it too. Love will conquer hate. Hope will defeat fear. Together, we will overcome.”
Telugu states i.e, AP and Telangana are included in RaGa’s walk route. Telangana Congress has pinned huge hopes on RaGa’s walkathon. Apparently RaGa’s route would be covered in just six days but T-PCC chief Revanth Reddy requested RaGa to hold his walkathon for at least for 10 days.
On the other hand, the BJP is attacking RaGa’s Bharat Joda Yatra. With the help of their massive social media army, they are posting comments with the hashtag #GoBackPappu but Congress is retaliating against this attack.
