AP Touches 3 Lakh Covid-19 Cases

Andhra Pradesh has emerged as the third state in the country to touch 3 Lakh Covid-19 cases. In the last 24 hours, 9652 new positive cases have been reported and this enabled the cases tally to touch the 3 Lakh mark. Currently the total cases count stands at 3,06,261.

District wise, East Godavari is leading with 42,600 while Kurnool is next with 34,782. Yesterday, these two districts posted 1396 and 830 cases respectively. Krishna and Prakasham districts are the least affected with 12,760 and 12,948 cases respectively.

Out of the total cases, the active cases count is 85,130 while the discharged people are 2,18,311.

2820 people have died from the state of the virus and compared with other states, the death rate in AP is low.
