The festival season has concluded and people who emptied the twin cities are returning and from Monday morning, it will be a busy life. The roads will be filled with two wheelers and four wheelers and traffic will be jam packed. The twin cities have lakhs of vehicles and every day the fuel requirement is jumping.
But in an unexpected thing, many filling stations across a few locations in Hyderabad have erected ‘NO STOCK’ boards. At multiple bunks, vehicles are seen stranded and the managements are sending people back due to shortage from Sunday night. But the petrol management added that there is a shortage of petrol while diesel is available like any other regular day.
However Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi is suspecting a conspiracy over shortage of petrol and he slammed Hyderabad Commissioner of Police (CP) CV Anand for creating an artificial shortage of petrol.
“I have observed that only during our festivals, petrol is going out of stock in petrol stations across Hyderabad and something is seriously wrong. I urge CV Anand to respond. He studied in Nizam College and I’m a student of the same college too. Please react and solve this issue,” said Owaisi.
The management of filling stations added that the problem with petrol stock will be resolved in a couple of days.
