AP CM YS Jaganmohan Reddy’s right-hand man and Rajya Sabha member Vijay Sai Reddy made a key announcement today at a media interaction. Responding to an article on Eenadu front page against him and his close family members, Vijay Sai Reddy came down heavily on Ramoji Rao whom he referred as “Ramu”. Vijay Sai Reddy announced that he would be entering into the media business directly in a head-on with Ramoji Rao. Sai Reddy said he would set up news channels on his own to take on Ramoji.
In a challenge to Ramoji Rao and TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu, Vijay Sai Reddy said he is open to any inquiry into his assets. He said he is ready to take up the investigation of CBI and ED. He also asked Ramoji Rao and Chandrababu whether they’re ready for similar investigation or not.
Responding to controversial Daspalla land, Vijay Sai Reddy said builders and several owners have clarified on the issue. Sai Reddy said the state government gets credit for implementing the Supreme Court verdict. He claimed that 400 families have benefitted from the government’s act. Sai Reddy said some media publications have become like pamphlets to TDP and Chandrababu. Sai Reddy said these are caste-based media houses. Sai Reddy also leveled serious allegations against Ramoji Rao and his film city lands in Hyderabad. He alleged that Ramoji Rao had occupied 2500 acres of Film City land. He asked how a person selling pickles had earned lakhs of crores. Sai Reddy asked whether Ramoji Rao and Chandrababu would be ready for the CBI and ED investigation.
Meanwhile, earlier Eenadu reported that Vijay Sai Reddy’s daughter and his son-in-law reportedly purchased 15 acres of land of Daspalla family in Visakhapatnam which is worth over 2000 crore. Allegations are rife against Sai Reddy and family for purchasing several acres of lands in Vizag.
