In what could be a sensational twist to the MLAs poaching episode, Telangana CM KCR has held a press conference and accused BJP’s Amit Shah, JP Nadda and BL Santosh of having their involvement. KCR presented a video of this in the press meet but due to time constraints, it was not fully streamed.
KCR added that the video which is nearly three hours in length has been cut short to one hour. He informed that this video has been sent to Chief Justice of India Uday Umesh Lalit and all the Chief Justices of the respective High Courts in the country.
“In my political experience, I’m holding a press conference with utter sadness. Because never ever I imagined that politics would stoop down to such a low. I have the video footage and three persons involved in attempting to buy our MLAs were caught bluntly saying the names of Amit Shah, BL Santosh and JP Nadda. This is totally disgraceful. I have forwarded the video to CJI UU Lalit and probe agencies like CBI, ED and others,” said KCR.
On in taking Congress MLAs, KCR clarified that with two-third majority support of Congress MLAs, we have merged them in our party. The anti-defection law was not violated in this. “In this video, the person with beard says that they have dismantled eight state governments so far and next are Telangana, Delhi, Rajasthan and Andhra Pradesh. In the case of Delhi, one of the three persons says, they have 41 MLAs in touch with them and one MLA is being offered Rs 25 crore. This would make Rs 1,025 crore and I would like to ask from where is the money coming?” questioned KCR. The Telangana CM also revealed that the BJP is trying to bring down the state government in Rajasthan.
In the video, the TRS MLA is spotted asking Rs 50 crore from the person in black beard. Tandur MLA Rohit Reddy asks for assurance like B-form in the next elections for shifting loyals and personal protection.
