Munugode: BJP serious on Election Commissioner

Published by

The counting for Munugode by-poll is going on and after five rounds, TRS party has gained 1430 votes. However, the BJP has raised serious objections in the manner in which results were being declared after every round of counting.

Sensing something fishy, Union Minister Kishan Reddy has called Election Commissioner Vikas Raj. T-BJP chief Bandi Sanjay also expressed furious at the Election Commission that the counting is not going on transparently.

Interesting TRS is also alleging that the Election Commission is dodging in revealing the results after every round. Minister Jagadish Reddy added that there are poll observers from New Delhi in the counting centres and after every round of counting, they are calling people in Delhi and then announcing the results.

However, the Election Commission has rubbished the allegations and added that there is a procedure to announce results after every round of counting.

In the fifth round TR received 32,405 votes whereas BJP got 30,975 votes.
