Modi Tour: Next Big Thing in Telugu States

Published by

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to tour on November 11 and 12 in the Telugu states but this visit of the Prime Minister has heated up the Andhra and Telangana politics. In the case of Andhra, PM Modi is expected to launch a series of projects and address a public meeting in Vizag. But the bizzare thing is Andhra BJP leaders have no clue about this visit of PM Modi while the YCP is working on arrangements for Modi’s public meeting.

And coming to Telangana, PM Modi would be inaugurating the Fertilizer Corporation of India (FCI). What is surprising about this event is, the FCI factory was reopened by the Telangana government about a year back and the TRS leaders asked what is the purpose of inauguration when the FCI operations are already underway.

Ahead of PM Modi’s visit the students JAC has demanded to fulfill their promises. It is well known that the Common Recruitment Bill concerning the universities in the state has been amended but the Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan hasn’t approved it. The Students JAC appealed to the Centre and Governor to approve the bill or face the consequences during PM Modi’s visit.

The Communist parties also went on high alert with PM Modi’s visit to Telangana and with the attitude of Telangana Governor Tamilisai. The Left parties added that they will hold a seizure of Raj Bhavan if the Governor Tamilisai continues to act with vested political interests.

After a gap, PM Modi is scheduled to visit the Telugu states but it is going to be a huge political storm. The Telugu states have been majorly ignored by the BJP led NDA government under the leadership of PM Modi.
