Advisor to AP CM Jagan, Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy hit back at ‘Water Man’ Rajendra Singh for his remarks on constructions at Rushikonda.
“It’s unfortunate that some people have misled Rajendra Singh and this is all part of a conspiracy against Vizag becoming the Executive Capital of AP. Rajendra Singh was the same man who criticised 33,000 acres of Amaravati capital proposed by the previous TDP government . He quoted that the valuable farm lands were pooled for real estate purpose,” said Sajjala.
The advisor went on to comment controversially on Rushikonda being brought to ground. “Should we measure in kilos and tonnes for excavation at Rushikonda? Is Rushikonda an international issue?” questioned Sajjala and he raked up Ramanaidu Studios and Millennium Towers projects.
“How were roads laid to Ramanaidu Studios and Millennium Towers? For roads to these places, Rushikonda was excavated without following environmental regulations. Many projects were undertaken at the same place in previous governments. There is no system beyond a government and government is a constitutional body,” added Sajjala.
The YCP government is defending its stance on constructions at Rushikonda and is in no mood take criticism from anyone.
Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyanam and communist leader Narayana objected Rushikonda destruction but the YCP is unmoved.
