KCR, Delhi Is Not Telangana

Published by

Telangana CM KCR’s national politics ambitions kick started with Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS). On Monday, KCR flew down to New Delhi and today, the BRS party’s temporary office was inaugurated amidst the presence of many key political parties and former Chief Ministers. But KCR should remember that Delhi is not Telangana and needs a lot to conquer it.

For KCR’s tour of Delhi, the BRS activists have done some special arrangements like erecting big banners and hoardings hailing KCR to the sky. These posters were put on a large scale on both sides of the road from Delhi Airport to the BRS party’s new office located at Sardar Patel Road Marg. However these banners were not to be seen by Tuesday morning.

Especially at Sardar Patel Road, the TRS party’s pink flags were tied to every electric pole while banners were set up at every junction. Shockingly the Delhi Municipal Corporation has removed all these banners and it is surprising that the municipal corporation under Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal’s administration.

In fact, Kejriwal had extended support to Telangana CM KCR when the latter announced to foray into national politics. The Municipal officials of Delhi corporation informed that Sardar Patel Road witnesses heavy flow of traffic movement of VVIPs and in order to not cause inconvenience, the banners have been removed.

In Telangana, wherever and whenever KCR’s plans to visit a place, the local TRS cadre erects huge hoardings welcoming the TRS chief. There are rules in place but they do not apply for the ruling party in Telangana but Delhi is not KCR’s adda and rules do apply.
