Two decades back, Indian School of Business aka ISB, was established in Hyderabad and on its 20th anniversary, the top B-school honoured the efforts of Chandrababu Naidu, the man behind it. On Friday, the 20th anniversary event was held and Naidu graced the occasion as chief guest.
The founding Dean of ISB recalled the efforts of Chandrababu Naidu. “I’m extremely emotional every time I share the stage with Chandrababu Naidu. For me, he is an absolute role model and I have seen many political leaders but Chandrababu Naidu is cut from a different cloth and he is somebody who deserves all the respect that we can give. I just want to say that I’m gifted to be associated with Chandrababu Naidu,” said Pramath Raj Sinha.
This video of the ISB Dean has gone viral and the social media is abuzz with Chandrababu Naidu’s foresight for the growth of Hyderabad. He is being elevated like a hero. Vision 2020 was a brainchild of Naidu to see Hyderabad flourish with investments and tech companies setting up their base in the city. Naidu’s efforts truly paid off with the kind of development Hyderabad has seen over the years.
At ISB, Chandrababu also visited the Cheesewood sapling that he planted when the institute was established and in the interactive session, Chandrababu asked people at ISB to become job providers instead of job seekers. His speech got a terrific response.
That’s how history should be scripted and people behind it should be remembered.
