Pawan Kalyan’s allegations on minister Ambati Rambabu had kicked up a furore. Pawan leveled serious allegations on Amabati and made bribe allegations on the minister and his associates. Ambati had strongly responded to Pawan’s allegations and challenged him to prove them. He had claimed that Pawan is making baseless allegations coming to his constituency Sattenapalli. However, a video of victims surfaced online the other day and is going viral. Several Janasena leaders started circulating the video. The video witnessed the victims family coming out in the open and claiming their side of story.
According to some media reports and victims’ video, leaders of YSRCP allegedly demanded bribe from a family to get government compensation . Going into details, mother Turaka Gangamma and father Parlaiah have lost their son Anil (17) on August 20 when he was cleaning drainage at Vinayaka hotel in Sattenapalli in Guntur. The family is said to have received a Rs 5 lakh cheque from CM Relief Fund as compensation from AP government. But Municipal Chairperson’s husband Sambasiva Rao had demanded Rs 2.5 lakh bribe from the family to handover the compensation cheque.
The bereaved family was shocked with this demand as they had planned to get their daughter Sammakka married with the compensation amount. Despite several requests from family to forego as they planned to get their daughter married with a compensation amount, ruling party leaders allegedly demanded the bribe. With pressure mounting from the leaders, the bereaved family has approached minister Ambati Rambabu and briefed him their situation.
Allegedly, minister Ambati too asked the family to pay the bribe to get the compensation cheque. The family was in utter shock with the minister’s response. The family alleged that local Circle Inspector also threatened the family and asked them to heed to Municipal Chairperson’s husband Sambasiva Rao. The family had decided to claim their life by consuming pesticide.
As soon as the allegation on YCP leaders came out in the media, the family is reportedly getting a lot of threats from various leaders of the ruling party. It is said that the family is receiving threats to their daughter. The family is seeking justice. Minister Ambati Rambabu and Municipal Chairperson’s husband Challamcharla Sambasiva Rao are yet to respond to the allegations.
Janasena leaders are blasting minister Ambati and YCP leaders over the issue. After showcasing the victim’s video, Janasena party leaders are demanding resignation of Ambati over the incident. The victim’s family also participated in a media conference. Janasena leaders state that the victim’s family came out voluntarily and there was no force or influence or manipulation was done. Now, all fingers are pointing at minister Amabti and local YCP leaders.
