AP CM YS Jagan is on a three days tour of his home district Kadapa and he will extensively visit his own Assembly constituency Pulivendula. In Pulivendula, CM Jagan will be inaugurating the new bus terminal which has been a long pending promise.
CM Jagan had announced the construction of a new bus terminal in December, 2020 and he assured that it would get completed in a quick time. Due to some unavoidable circumstances, the bus stand construction got delayed and the main opposition, TDP trolled CM Jagan and YCP government mercilessly. In between the old Pulivendula bus stand was closed for travellers and this caused severe inconvenience for the public. But now the new bus terminal is all set for inauguration.
Constructed with a budget of Rs 34 crore, this is said to be Asia’s biggest bus terminal, informed APSRTC chairman Mallikarjun Reddy who inspected the works earlier this week. Spread across four acres, the bus terminal hosts a multiplex, shopping complexes and numerous bus bays.
A couple of pictures of Pulivendula’s new bus terminal surfaced on the internet and we see a large chandler being erected. After all it is CM’s home town and deserves all the fancy stuff to be in place.
