This Reddy YCP Leader Boldly Talks Against Govt

Published by

Ruling party MLA and senior YSRCP leader Anam Ramanarayana Reddy, who is known for his outspokenness and blunt comments, is at it again. Anam this time too didn’t mince his words and his remarks have caught the ruling party leaders off guard. Going into details, Anam made critical remarks against the government during the meeting with volunteers and convenors in Nellore district.

Anam Ramanarayana Reddy listed out the pending and incomplete works of the government and expressed helplessness. “What have we done to people to ask them votes? In the last four years, what all the work the government did for the people?”

“The potholes on roads were not filled. The condition of roads is bad. The drinking water is not provided. None of the projects are completed. Nor have we started any work. Houses are also not built despite doing layout work.” Anam shocked YSRCP leaders.

Commenting on the public welfare schemes and direct cash benefit schemes to people, Anam said, “Even the previous government had given pensions and other welfare schemes. Do people vote for such schemes?”

Anam’s comments have become a weapon for the opposition leaders who are cornering the ruling party leaders. This is not the first time, Anam made such comments against the Jagan government.

There are reports that in the upcoming general elections Jagan Mohan Reddy may not allot seat to Sr leader Aanam Ramanarayana Reddy. Open fight between Aanam and Anil Kumar Yadav is well aware to all.

In 2012, he was the Finance and Planning Minister for the state of Andhra Pradesh, with a seat in the cabinet of the government led by Nallari Kiran Kumar Reddy. He joined YSR Congress Party in 2018.
