Kandukur and Guntur stampede incidents resulted in loss of innocent lives. While TDP and YSRCP are blaming one another, Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan’s response came very late.
Pawan expressed his sadness over the Guntur stampede and offered condolences to the bereaved families. However, Pawan stated that the organisers should have taken proper care to avoid such untoward incidents.
He also asked police personnel to provide tight security to prevent such unfortunate incidents. Pawan’s response was very balanced and politically biased, argue his critics.
The ruling YSRCP leaders alleged that Pawan’s reaction was very late. Former Minister Perni Nani threw satires at Pawan stating the illegal house walls in Ippatam have more significance and importance than the value of eight lives in Kandukur and three innocent lives in Guntur. Nani questioned Pawan’s morals and ethics for his soft nature over the Kandukur and Guntur incidents.
Pawan in his statement nowhere mentioned Chandrababu Naidu’s name directly. He just found fault with the organisers. He hasn’t targeted TDP directly either.
This doesn’t go well with YCP which has hit out at Janasena allegedly for his “double-standards’ ‘. On the other hand, Janasena leaders and activists maintained that Pawan has maintained his stand on the incidents and expressed his condolences.
