Telangana hyperactive minister Malla Reddy was critical of AP CM YS Jagan and added that people of AP are looking at Bharat Rashtra Samithi. Malla Reddy has been in Khammam for the last two days looking after the arrangements for the BRS’ first ever public meeting and when asked about hosting the Khammam meeting, the topic diverted to Jagan’s governance.
“Thirty percent of Andhra business people reside in Hyderabad and they have seen KCR’s government and AP CM Jagan led YCP government. People of AP have knowledge of Chandrababu and Jagan’s rule and they are unimpressed. AP lagged behind and I assume people of AP are ready to welcome BRS with open arms,” said Malla Reddy.
Subtly the Telangana minister took a jibe at Jagan and YCP government and with confidence he said that BRS is an alternative to TDP and YSRCP in AP. We can assume that Malla Reddy got carried away in the excitement whereas the ground reality is far different.
People of AP are still sceptical of BRS and only after its first public meeting in Vizag, political situation can be analysed. Until then Malla Reddy’s comments can surely be ignored.
