With national political ambitions, Telangana CM KCR has converted his TRS into BRS but till date KCR hasn’t met his old friend i.e, AP CM YS Jagan Reddy. Going by the latest reports, the leaders of both BRS and YCP say that the conflict will end soon which means KCR and Jagan are likely to share the same stage by the end of this month.
Going into the story, for the Brahmotsavam event of Visakha Sarada Peetham, KCR and Jagan have received invitations. There are high chances that both KCR and Jagan are likely to grace this ritual. Visakha Sarada Peetham Brahmotsavam is being organized from January 27th to 31st. On this occasion, Rajashyamala Yaga will be performed and sources in Sarada Peetam say that KCR will attend this ritual. Both the CMs have visited Sarada Peetham many times in the past. Sarada Peetham chief Swarupanandendra Saraswati has close association with both KCR and Jagan.
On the other hand KCR is organizing public gatherings in the name of BRS and is calling leaders of other states but he did not reach out to AP CM Jagan. While KCR entered into national politics against BJP, Jagan is moving closer to BJP. This was one of the prime reasons KCR has not consulted Jagan.
Initially Telangana CM and AP CM displayed great camaraderie but differences erupted with Krishna river water sharing and Pothireddypadu project. Jagan’s sister Sharmila who floated a political party in Telangana, has been criticising KCR and this irked the BRS boss more. Although there are many ambiguities about whether Sharmila’s mark of politics, KCR is seriously upset with her and Jagan for her continuous attack on BRS government.
Simultaneously KCR is expanding BRS and has already appointed Thota Chandrasekhar as the AP BRS chief. It is said that it is certain that BRS will contest in AP in the next election yet some have questions about KCR’s approach in AP if he associates with Jagan.
Amidst this, the event at Sarada Peetham has garnered huge significance. Will KCR and Jagan meet each other is something very curious to know. There is speculation that since the event is a four day one, KCR and Jagan might attend on different dates.
Summing up whether KCR and Jagan will meet or not, both parties will have clarity on the association and it will also decide BRS party’s situation in AP.
