Against all odds the Telugu Desam wants form the next government in AP. Accordingly the party has started working on poll strategies and wants to offer B-forms/tickets to those candidates who are influential among the people. Besides the Assembly, the TDP has laid a lot of focus on 25 Lok Sabha segments which are crucial in national politics perspective.
Among the 25 Parliament segments, Vijayawada Lok Sabha seat has high significance. TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu is in thoughts to rope in his daughter-in-law Nara Brahmani from Vijayawada in 2024. The reason being current MP Kesineni Nani is at loggerheads with his younger brother Shivanath and TDP leadership is worries with Kesineni brothers war. Shivanth is pressuring TDP leadership to give the Vijayawada Lok Sabha ticket to him.
Kesineni Nani who has knowledge of Shivanath’s negotiations, vowed to defeat his brother if TDP gives ticket to Shivanath. Surprisingly the TDP cadre in Vijayawada is on the side of Shivanath. But TDP leadership sensed that the party will face more troubles if Nani or Shivanath is offered ticket even though they can win the Vijayawada Lok Sabha.
To end this cold war politics in Vijayawada, TDP chief Naidu is in thoughts to bring his daughter-in-law Brahmani. This is a good move because Brahmani has done her masters in business administration in the USA and is highly educated person. Sending an educated person like Brahmani to Parliament will bring a refreshing image for Telugu Desam.
From sources Naidu is estimating the chances of having Brahmani in poll foray. The source further said that Brahmani is also showing interest is contesting the mainstream elections. This would certainly mark a new beginning in TDP.
