Kadapa MP YS Avinash Reddy was questioned by the CBI for the second time. For nearly five hours, Avinash Reddy faced the CBI officials questions without any break but before that the CBI has denied Avinash Reddy’s requests of having his personal advocate during the probe and also the video recording option.
Post the probe, Avinash Reddy spoke to the media and he added that TDP and a section of media is trying to frame him in the murder of YV Vivekanand Reddy. “I was the first person to inform the media about Viveka’s death. There were reports in the media that I flew to Dubai immediately after Viveka’s murder. Surprisingly the allegations thrown at me by TDP a year ago, are being questioned by the CBI officials today,” said Avinash Reddy.
The Kadapa MP added that one lie is being dragged unnecessarily while the truth is dying. Avinash Reddy suspected that the probe is not progressing with intentions to dig the truth but is more aimed at an individual. “The letter in connection with Viveka’s murder is being hidden for unknown reasons,” said Avinash Reddy.
AP CM Jagan’s advisor Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy also made similar comments. He said that the TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu might have influenced the CBI because he is a master in manipulating the system and agencies.
