Andhra Jyothi Radha Krishna’s editorial (Kotha Paluku) on Pawan Kalyan in which he had claimed that TRS was trying to woo Pawan Kalyan with a whopping Rs 1000 Crore package has created shivers all over political circles. The tremors were felt.
Pawan fans have taken a strong objection to RK’s editorial piece. Naga Babu openly blasted RK and his media house. Several staunch Jana Sena activists and leaders have come down heavily on RK and TDP. In fact, this whole edit column of RK turned out to be a headache to Chandrababu and TDP as fingers are pointed at them that this was carried out at the behest of the TDP.
As this whole thing is taking many turns and becoming trouble to RK and Andhrajyothi, finally, RK has come up with a clarification in the latest editorial. In an open clarification, RK appealed to Pawan’s fans to “understand” instead of “misunderstanding” his article.
RK gave a detailed explanation and claimed that the whole intention and purpose of the previous editorial was to target YS Jaganmohan Reddy. He went on to clarify what he had meant originally. In the latest piece of ‘Kotha Paluku’, he also talked about YS Viveka’s murder, CBI investigation, Sajjala’s comments and et al.
RK also said media and journalists’ responsibility is to unearth the behind-the-scenes meetings, understandings, and pact between politicians and their differences to the public. He alleged that the YSR regime started the trend to add ‘political’ colour to media and journos. And this trend has peaked out in AP recently.
But what many analysts are saying is why didn’t RK give such a detailed explanation in the first editorial piece itself that led to the controversy. Overall, we have to wait for Pawan’s fans reaction who are fuming against ABN and RK. Will this clarification cool down the PK fans? Let’s wait and watch.
