Honey Trap, a scandal that loots people, had the most impact on Navy and Military services and personnel. This honey trap has now reached Telangana with the episode of town planning examination paper leak. A new angle has become interesting in the issue of leakage of the question paper of the Town Planning examination, conducted by TSPSC.
Initially when the probe was launched, it was assumed that miscreants might have hacked the servers of TSPSC to leak the question paper. When the police dug deep into the details, they found out that the servers were not hacked and the question papers are safe in the servers. Then how was the question paper leaked?
During the investigation, the police learned that a girl was frequently visiting the TSPSC office and was meeting TSPSC Secretary PA Praveen Kumar. The police immediately detained Praveen Kumar and interrogated him. In the probe, Praveen Kumar pleaded guilty of leaking the question paper only for the sake of the girl who was meeting him.
Ironically Praveen Kumar has no clue about the girl’s identity and this can be summed up that the girl was sent to trap the TSPSC officer. Now the police are searching for the girl and ultimately want to nab the person behind the girl.
But it’s shocking that the honey trap trend has hit the TSPSC and never know it might creep in any government office that could leak confidential information. In the Navy and Military, the officers lost jobs in honey trap episodes and were also arrested.
It’s high time the officials stay on high alert on strangers reaching the government offices especially at places where credible sources of information are held.
