Jagan Waiting To Take Action On MLAs

Published by

The YCP defeat in the Graduates MLC polls has put party boss and Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy on high alert. As Jagan is aiming at a clean sweep in the upcoming Assembly elections, he has asked the political consultancy I-PAC team, hired for supporting the party in the campaigning process, to rish to the 108 Assembly constituencies, in which limits the MLC polls were held to assess the ground situation.

Jagan had been warning the party leaders of denial of tickets if they did not mingle with the people but the legislators seem to have lost the contact with the people for which reason the TDP had been able to push it’s way into the segments like Kadapa which had been the YCP’s fort since long.

It is also learnt that Jagan himself is planning to speak to the MLAs once the MLA-quota MLC polls are over. It is being said that Jagan is likely to observe the chemistry between the MLAs and the people in their constituencies at this time and make some changes.

Though there might not be any serious changes visible on the outside now, Jagan is considering the results of the Graduate MLC polls as a severe setback to the party’s performance in the Assembly elections.

TDP-backed Chiranjeevi Rao’s victory from North Andhra region seems to be a bitter pill to swallow for the YCP.
However, Jagan is waiting for the upcoming MLC elections as any serious action would invite dissent from the party eaders. Once the MLC polls are complete, it is being said that Jagan would certainly bring in some changes in the party.
Let us wait and watch what is in store for the YCP leaders.
