Kadapa MP YS Avinash Reddy who was questioned by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in connection with the mysterious murder of YS Vivekananda Reddy, has applied for anticipatory bail.
Post lunch hour on Tuesday, Avinash Reddy applied for bail in the Telangana High Court. The Kadapa MP has been questioned by the CBI for four times and the probe agency is suspecting that Avinash Reddy has credible information regarding Viveka’s murder. Initially there were reports in the media that Avinash Reddy could be arrested but nothing as such happened till date.
The other day the Supreme Court of India, fumed over CBI for delay in the investigation progress. With the apex court expressing its disappointment, the CBI has expedited the investigation and amidst these reports, there was buzz that the CBI might call Avinash Reddy yet again.
With uncertainty over his questioning, Avinash Reddy has applied for bail. It is yet to be known when this petition would come for hearing.
