Association of Democratic Reforms (ADR) in its report stated that AP CM YS Jagan Reddy is the richest Chief Minister among the Indian states. The value of AP CM Jagan’s total assets is worth Rs 510 crore. ADR claimed that it prepared the report after analysing the self-sworn poll affidavits of all the 30 current chief ministers of states and union territories.
Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao topped the charts in high liabilities worth Rs 8 crore. The value of KCR’s total assets is worth Rs 23.55 crore, said the report. A total of nine chief ministers have declared that their liabilities are worth Rs 1 crore and above.
All together, out of the 30 chief ministers, 29 of them are crorepati while 13 CMs have declared that they have serious criminal cases against them including attempt to murder and kidnapping. West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee stood last in this chart with the value of her assets being worth just Rs 15 Lakh.
The ADR report showed Jagan is followed by Pema Khandu who is the CM of North-East state, Arunachal Pradesh and his assets are worth Rs 163 crore. Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik owns assets worth Rs 63 crore.
