Following the arrest of YS Bhaskar Reddy, father of Avinash Reddy, things have changed overnight. Ruling YSRCP is on tenterhooks. CM Jagan has cancelled his official programmes and held a high-chair meeting with party’s key leaders.
As per the initial plan, Avinash Reddy is supposed to attend the CBI investigation today. However, the CBI gave a last-minute twist. The central investigating agency has given one-more day time to Avinash. It asked Avinash to appear before the CBI team at 10.30 AM tomorrow instead of the today 3.30 PM.
As MP Avinash Reddy has appealed for anticipatory bail from the Telangana High Court and moved a lunch motion urgent petition seeking anticipatory bail, the CBI has decided to defer Avinash’s probe by a day. The CBI officials are of the opinion that the High Court’s verdict in the bail petition would clear the things and would make their job easy.
With this, Avinash Reddy has got one more day time to appear before the CBI. This will be CBI’s fifth time investigation of Avinash in Viveka’s murder case. Now, all eyes are on Telangana High Court’s verdict on Avinash’s anticipatory bail petition.
